Retro Scarf Pattern:
The item you are sewing is a Retro-inpsired scarf pattern drafted by me, Outer Child. There is one main scarf piece and two ties. This pattern is easy and beginner friendly. You only need to use a straight stitch, but you will need a sewing machine.
The scarf can be worn all the ways shown in these photos. You can use the same fabric for all pieces or mix and match as many prints and colors as you like. You can even add overlays like lace and details like trims.
Have fun customizing your retro patchwork summer scarf! (Or your totally black completely one color scarf. Seriously it's whatever you want it to be).
Printing instructions:
Print actual size. Do not fit to page, shrink page, or scale in any way. Print page 1 first to make sure the 1 inch test square measures exactly 1 inch.
Some of the lines may get cut off at the edges but thats ok. I made it this way so that the pattern fits on 2 pages instead of 3 pages. Do not trim the edges of the paper. Place pattern pages side by side with no overlap and tape together. See instructions in PDF for all correct measurements.
If you don't want to sew a scarf, I usually have a few for sale here and can make more if there is a lot of interest.
