Haunted Fabric, Really?

Yes, Alex is really an empath and he can feel residual energies as well as detect spiritual presences. 

What's the difference?

Residual energies are left over "vibes" that can attach to objects. They are not spirits capable of interacting with you. 

Spiritual presences are more what you would think of as ghosts that can actually haunt things (if you believe in that). We will not be sending you any ghosts/spirits because that's not how it really works (if it indeed really does work). 

We say our fabrics are "haunted" because we are pretty unserious and very tongue in cheek about it all even though we do believe in these energies. But you are welcome to take it or leave it. Because we are not very into it other than the fact that he is an empath and has been able to sense, see, and hear things his whole life. But it is not anything we "practice" so to speak.

I, Emily, never believed anyone who said they experiences anything empathetic like this until I met Alex and actually witnessed him have these interactions. There are things that make me believe him and I have actually seen and felt things since being around him. We have some stories and maybe we will work on compiling them in some way if there is interest. 

For now, it's all really just for entertainment purposes and fun. We are not super serious about it, nor do we disrespect it. 

Alex will sometimes be able to tell if a piece of fabric has an energy. You may have seen us do some "haunted fabric check" videos. He cannot really tell if the energy is benevolent or malevolent with these quick, forced checks. 

When the fabrics are combined, sometimes the energies change. Usually they become milder and more neutral. Again, there isn't really enough information to say "scary" or "not Scary." These are not spirits that can communicate, so there isn't really any further detail. 

So, we use a haunted level system.

0 - no energy felt
1 - relatively neutral, very mixed bag that turns out to be just an echo
2 - mid-ground - more vibes than not
3 - definite vibes - meaning that the residual energy remains high 

Please be patient as we rate everything. It's part of the process of creating a listing and isn't always listed right away. 

Alex cannot always tell with fabric if a residual energy is benevolent or malevolent. If something is reading as very intense or leaning toward malevolent we will be sure to disclose that. Then you can decide how much it matters to you.
