I like pinning it to a purse or bag strap as a kind of purse charm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis award is made from a vintage horse fabric panel ca. 1990s (manuf. unknown) and accented with royal blue lace trim (thrifted, date unknown) and the ribbon tails use a 60s-inspired blue, red, and yellow paisley pastiche printed fabric that could be from the 60s but is more likely ca. 1990s as well (really hard to tell on this one as the selvage marking is illegibly blurred). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe horse panel is about a 6\" square and with the blue ruffle, it is a total of 8\". From top to tail, this entire ribbon is about 18\" long. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAttached to a 2\" stainless steel safety pin that is securely sewn and then glued to a felt backing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSince I do use upcycled and thrifted items, there is a small imperfection in the felt backing right above where the pin is attached which you can see in photos.
